Former Federal Minister of Ports and Shipping Ali Zaidi has said on the mysterious deaths of civilians in Keamari that I am once again warning everyone that some areas of Keamari are becoming time bombs due to possible underground accumulation of hydrogensulfide H2S.

In a statement, Ali Zaidi said that on February 2020, 10 people were mysteriously killed in one evening in Keamari.

Instead of finding the root cause, the Sindh government blamed the anchored ship on KPT for offloading soybeans by taking a shortcut. Even then I warned the Sindh government about the possible accumulation of hydrogensulfide (H2S) in Kemari.

Now again, 19 deaths were mostly due to breathing problems. He added that (H2S) is naturally formed due to organic matter released from crude petroleum, natural gas, volcanic gases, liquid manure, sewage sludge, landfills, etc.

Since H2S is heavier than air, it accumulates in underground manholes, sewers and pipes, which are happening due to repeated deaths of civilians. He asked that when will the Sindh government wake up?
