The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, received on 25th January 2023 at the General Secretariat the Chairman of Board of Directors of the Federation of Contractors in Islamic Countries (FOCIC), Eng. Zakariya Abdulrahman Al- Abdulqader, and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the Secretary-General underscored the importance of contractors in driving development in OIC Member States and commended the efforts of the FOCIC towards creating and developing professional ties among contractors in OIC countries.
The two sides discussed the outcome of the Constituent General Assembly Meeting of the FOCIC held in Jeddah on 24th November 2022, held at the Islamic Development Bank headquarters. —PR
