Four children among five die in two Quetta gas explosions

Four children of a family were killed in an explosion triggered by gas leakage in Quetta’s Kharotabad area on Wednesday. Two women also sustained injuries in the incident took place in Badezai Town of Kharotabad.

According to police sources, the injured women were moved to Bolan Medical Complex Hospital for treatment.

In another gas leakage explosion in Bolan Town of Quetta’s Sariab area on Tuesday night, Sub-Inspector Shabbir Hussain Gujjar of Police Station Shalkot died in gas leakage explosion.

In a similar kind of incident on Tuesday, four people were suffocated to death in Jaan Mohammad Road area of Quetta.

The incident occurred due to gas leakage which filled the room in which the four were sleeping causing their death. The dead bodies were shifted to the Civil Hospital.—INP
