CPNE gets Rs10m, PFUJ Rs5m fund cheques

Sindh Information Minister SharjeelInamMemon on Wednesday presented cheques of endowment funds to Council of Pakistan Newspapers Editors (CPNE) and Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) at his office. CPNE Secretary General Aamir Mehmood, Finance Secretary Ghulam Nabi Chandio, Sindh Committee Chairman Hamid Hussain Abidi, KPK Committee Vice Chairman Tahir Farooq received cheque amounting to Rs 10 million under endowment fund from the provincial minister. Senior journalist and PFUJ leader LalaAsadPathan received Rs 5 million cheque on behalf of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists.

On this occasion, Provincial Information Minister SharjeelInamMemon also handed over a cheque of Rs. 300000 grant in aid to president Matli Press Club MajidNotkani. Secretary Sindh Information Department Imran Atta Soomro and Director Admin Muhammad YousufKabooro were also present.
