An additional 5.66 billion rupees has been released to meet the basic needs of the flood victims in Sindh.
According to the notification issued by the Sindh government, the Sindh government has issued orders to the MD, PDMA to protect the flood victims from the severe weather.
While releasing an additional 5.66 billion rupees to meet the basic needs of the flood victims, the government has directed that the basic needs of the flood victims include blankets, mosquito nets, tarpaulins, relief boats, pumping machinery for drainage and other things to be provided immediately. Sindh Chief Minister has also issued orders to MDPDMA to keep procurement and supply of basic needs transparent.Earlier, Sindh Government has claimed to spentmore than Rs30 billion rupees in flood relief and rehabilitation work.
