Armed robbers shot dead a man when he resisted a robbery attempt on Chakri Road on Wednesday, police sources said.
According to details, armed robbers intercepted the victim, identified as Liaquat and attempted to rob him. They opened fire when he offered resistance and fled leaving him in critical condition.
On receiving information, the Dhamyal police reached the crime scene and initiated the prob. The police has registered a case and started investigation.
Soon after the incident, SP (Saddar) Muhammad Nabil Khokhar said that teams have been formed to arrest the accused.
