PML-N leadership puts heads together on the issue

Punjab Assembly Speaker Sabtain Khan has said that Punjab Assembly could not be dissolved on Friday (today) since the No-Confidence Motion has been filed against Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi. He expressed these views while talking to the media persons on Thursday evening here.
Speaker Sabtain Khan was of the view that governor Punjab Balighur Rehman was issuing illegal orders since he cannot de-notify the Chief Minister. He further said that the governor cannot call a new session during the ongoing assembly session.
Highlighting the legal aspects of the de-notification of the Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Speaker Sabtain asked the Governor of Punjab not to issue illegal orders. Sabtain Khan said No-Confidence Motion has just been received by the Speaker’s Office and notice is yet to be given and there are chances that the matter may go up to the first week of January.
