The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), H.E. Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, hosted an official dinner in honor of the heads of delegations of the OIC Institutions and external offices and the special envoys of the Secretary-General participating in the sixth Annual Coordination Meeting of the OIC Institutions (ACMOI) on Wednesday, 14 December 2022 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Jeddah, in order to enhance mutual knowledge and consolidate cooperation between the OIC and its organs, institutions, and external offices. This official dinner was attended by the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Chair of the 14th Islamic Summit.
During the official dinner, which was also attended by the Assistant Secretaries-General, the Secretary-General expressed the OIC’s determination to continue providing various means of help and support in order to activate the work of the OIC institutions and offices spread around the world and to support the Special Envoys of the Secretary-General in their tasks.
Hissein Brahim Taha confirmed that this annual meeting, which includes the OIC institutions and offices, is an annual occasion to enhance dialogue between all the OIC institutions and to discuss appropriate ways to accelerate the implementation of the OIC programs and initiatives in various sectors in order to achieve work efficiency.—PR
