CM fulfils promise to journalist community
Former National Assembly speaker and PTI leader Asad Qaiser called on Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and former federal minister Moonis Elahi at CM Office on Tuesday and discussed matters of interest, economic and political situation of the country.
They expressed deep concern over the deteriorating economic situation while the CM said that the PDM-led government neither managed the economy nor saved political credibility. The elements who raised the slogan of saving the state, instead of politics, have been badly exposed. The incompetent bunch of PDM has caused enormous economic damage to Pakistan in a few months, he regretted. The federal government has no credibility. Shehbaz Sharif did not care about the honor of the post of the prime minister of Pakistan. This is the first prime minister who is begging all over the world but no one is willing to give him alms, he added.
He said that PDM has put the honor of the country at stake. People are fed up with this incompetent cabal.
He said that the federal government is also weakening interprovincial harmony under the covert policy of revenge.
The Punjab government has strongly protested against the illegal tactics of the federal government; he stated and noted that the federal government has shown open hostility to the people by withholding funds for Punjab. The provincial government will raise its voice against the illegal actions of the federal government on every forum, he further said.
Asad Qaiser said that the economic indicators are completely negative. He appreciated the people-friendly measures of CM Parvez Elahi and said that the extension of Rescue 1122 to the tehsil level and the start of the motorcycle rescue service are exemplary achievements. Ch Parvez Elahi did many welfare works in the past and he is even more active than before, he concluded.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has fulfilled another promise to the journalist community.
On the direction of CM, Ravi Urban Development Authority has allotted 700 kanals of land for the journalist colony’s second phase in its first phase.
COO RUDA has informed the Punjab Journalist Housing Foundation about the allotment of 700 kanals of land in phase one of RUDA.
