National Voters’ Day was observed in the district Hafizabad on Wednesday, to highlight the importance of vote and to encourage people, especially youth and women, to participate in the electoral process. The day was marked in commemoration of the first general elections in Pakistan held on 7th December 1970.

In this connection a walk and seminar was arranged under auspicious of District Election Commission Hafizabad.

Deputy Commissioner Touqeer Ilyas Cheema, District Election Commissioner Tanveer Ahmad Khan addressed the seminars while CEO Education Javed Iqbal Babar prominent social worker Rukhsana Bhatti, Dr. Nazar and a large number of social workers, civil society and other people participated the seminar.
