Special Adviser to Prime Minister and PML-N leader Atauallah Tarar has said that ‘hypocrisy’ of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) after retirement of former Chief of Army Staff (COAS) retd Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa is condemnable.

Taking to twitter handle on Sunday, he said that soon after retirement of former Army Chief General Bajwa, the lies and hypocrisy of PTI leadership have gone beyond limits.

Atauallah Tarar claimed that Chairman PTI Imran Khan kept asking former army chief to stop the no-confidence motion unconstitutionally, and levelled false allegations when he refused. “An attractive offer was made in lieu of the unconstitutional demand,” he alleged.

It is worth mentioning here that PTI Chief Imran Khan said a day earlier that his government’s decision to give extension to former Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa was ‘a mistake’.

Terming the decision a mistake, he said that no one should ever get an extension in the army. “When we came into power, our government was facing several problems,” he said, adding that extension to former COAS Bajwa was inevitable.
