Two persons were killed while four injured, two of them women in three different incidents in various parts of district Attock on Sunday, police sources said. In the first incident, a 15-year-old boy, walking on a railway track wearing headphones, was hit by a train and killed in precincts of Jand Police station on Sunday.
Police and Rescue officials said that the victim, Kashif Aziz was walking on the railway track near railway station in Jand town, wearing headphones, oblivious to the train approaching from the back. He was hit by the train and killed on the spot. Later his body was shifted to tehsil headquarters hospital Jand. Moreover, a man was stabbed to death by unknown persons in village Haji Shah in the limits of Attock Khurd Police station on Sunday.
Police sources said that 46 years old Arshad Hussain was going towards his house after work, when unknown masked man intercepted him and attacked with his dagger. Later the assailant managed to flee from the scene leaving him in the pool of blood. The injured was rushed to district headquarters hospital where he succumbed to injuries. Meanwhile four persons including two women were injured when a rickshaw turned turtle after hitting a motorcycle near Ghora chowk in the limits of Pindigheb Police station.
