LAHORE: Layya DPO Usman Ijaz Bajwa has claimed that during the last one month they have arrested 17 proclaimed offenders, 6 law absconders, and 30 habitual criminals while tracing 11 cases of robbery and other crimes 8 criminals of 2 gangs were arrested.
The police recovered looted items worth Rs 9 lacs and 3 pistols, SMG rifle and 20 rounds from their possession. He further said that 35 drug peddlers were arrested and 10 KG charas, Heroin about half KG, 256 wine bottles and 4 working wine kilns have been seized.
