Alkhidmat Karachi has distributed fertilizers, seeds and pesticides under its “Farmer Rehabilitation Program” to farmers affected by the recent floods in the country.
Following the conclusion of its rescue and relief activities, Alkhidmat hasembarked on the next stage of its operations which is the rehabilitation and normalization of the lives of the flood victims, which includes providing housing and agricultural support to these people with the assistance of South Punjab’sBank Al Falah. The first beneficiaries of the Farmer Rehabilitation Programwere farmers from Jampur, Jamal Khan and AzmatWala who received seeds, pesticides and fertilizersin a ceremony attended by a large number of farmers, localresidents and officials of Bank Al Falah and Alkhidmat Karachi including Manager Disaster Management AlkhidmatKarachi Sarfaraz Sheikh, Manager HR Alkhidmat Karachi Fareed Ahmed, Business Head Bank Al Falah Multan Cluster Muhammad Muhsin, Cluster Head Operations Naeem Siddiqui, Senior Area Manager D. G. Khan Chaudhary MuhammadWaseem, Area Operations Manager Muhammad YasirAshfaq and others.
Speaking on the occasion, CEO AlkhidmatKarachi Naveed Ali Baig said that Alkhidmat has developed the Farmer Rehabilitation Program to help those farmerswho had lost their crops and fields in the recent floods. He reiterated his commitment to continue the rehabilitationoperations until all the farmers were compensated and appealed to those with means to come forward and supportAlkhidmat in its welfare activities.
