A helicopter carrying Pakistan Tehreek PTI chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his comrades had to make an emergency landing near Dera Ismail Khan after it developed a technical fault on Saturday.
The PTI chief was en-route to Islamabad from Dera Ismail Khan when pilot reported the fault and made an emergency landing near Adiala village due to a technical problem. Both the crew staff and Imran Khan and his accomplices remained safe.
The pilot made an emergency landing near a village in Adiala Town due to a technical problem, after which Khan left for his residence by road, the party sources confirmed.
Khan was visiting DI Khan to distribute cash cheques to the flood affectees and this incident took place on his way back. When his helicopter made an emergency landing, he called his staff to send vehicles.
While waiting for his cars, Khan spent time with the children of the nearby village who were playing cricket in the fields and interacted with them in detail also giving them piece of advice to keep their morals high and work for the prosperity and development of the country wholeheartedly.
