On the directives of Provincial Ombudsman Sindh Aijaz Ali Khan, the Regional Director Shaheed Benazirabad Khan Muhammad Zardari visited Tent City Qazi Ahmed set up for flood-hit people and Taluka Hospital Qazi Ahmed and inspected the facilities being provided to flood affectess and patients.
During the visit of Tent City and Taluka Hospital, he said that objective of visit as directed by Provincial Ombudsman is to watch the facilities being accorded to flood affectees and patients.
He directed school administration of the Tent City for arrangement of furniture and clean potable water for children taking education here.
The RD instructed Assistant Commissioner to provide facilities of food and other required items to flood affectess accommodate in Tent City.
He also inspects medical camp set up inside Tent City and instructed for provision of beds for patients when residents complained about non availability of beds.
The Tent City residents also complained about non provision of tents following which on the orders of tents were provided by Assistant Commissioner. AC Qazi Ahmed Zeeshan Ahmed, Town Officer Kashif Ali Zaradri and other officials were also present on the occasion.
