Top-notch universities ink MoUs to build research consortiums

The University of Okara’s Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Muhammad Wajid, signed Memorandums of Un-derstanding (MoUs) with three top-notch universi-ties, two from Southern Punjab and one from Quetta, including Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Multan, Women University Multan and The Baluchistan University of Information Technology, Engineering, and Management Sciences (BUITEMS).

The MoUs were inked between Prof Wajid and the VC, BZU, Dr Mansoor Akbar Kundi, VC, WUM, Dr Uzma Qureshi and Pro VC, BUITEMS, Dr Abdul Rahman Khan.

According to Prof Wajid, these agreements are meant to build research consortiums, organize joint conferences and seminars, initiate faculty and student exchange programs and cooperate on other strategic areas.

Further commenting on the objectives of the pacts, the VC told, “The vision of my administration is to strengthen and promote the culture of research and global academic collaborations.
