Punjab Govt spending billions on uplift schemes

Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Saquib Manan has said that Punjab govt is spending billions on different development schemes in Attock district which will benefit thousand of people.

He directed the relevant officers to ensure timely completion of the projects and ensure good quality of the work and not to take lenient view in this context. He said this while visiting the under construction Mother and child hospital and 9.8 km under construction Attock Haji Shah road. Both the projects will be completed at the cost 0f Rs 5320 million and Rs 986.693 million respectively.

The Commissioner emphasised upon the officers to keep paying visits to the under construction projects. Saquib Manan also visited DHQ Hospital Attock to have a know how about the medical facilities being provided to the indoor and outdoor door patients.

Commissioner was accompnied by DC Attock Hasan Waqar Cheema, ADC Aetizaz Aslam Marth , ADCG Zulfiqar Ahmad , ADC (F&P)Waqar Akbar Cheema and others.

Earlier DC Attock during a meeting apprised the Commissioner about steps being taken to control Dengue, Corona, Polio and other diseases and about the 80 under completion development schemes costing 23808 million rupees.
