The services trade deficit shrunk by 9.84 percent as exports witnessed growth of 8.25 percent during the first two months of the current fiscal year as compared to the corresponding period of last year, Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) reported.
According to PBS data, the exports from the country during July-August (2022-23) were recorded at $1,130.14 million against the exports of $1,043.99 million in July-August (2021-22), showing growth of 8.25 percent.
The services’ imports also went up by 1.15 percent from US$ 1,719.13 million last year to US$1,738.84 million during the period under review. —APP
