Former prime minister and PML-N leader Shahid  Khaqan Abbasi said on Friday that he was not in the favour of leaking people’s videos or audios. In an interview with a private news channel in Karachi, he said there was nothing to cheer about as such incidents were a cause of concern.

Commenting on the acquittal of PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz in Avenfield reference by the Islamabad High Court (IHC), he said this was  proof of the fact that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had  filed thousands of ‘fake’ cases against politicians, and it was high  time that the former NAB chairman be asked as to on whose orders, he had  done so.

On the issue of US cypher, he said that the PML-N would now take the  issue to masses, and now they would decide as to who was right and who  was wrong. “It is evident from the audio leak that how a former prime  minister is hatching a conspiracy with the principal secretary,” he  claimed.
