Four members of dacoit and bike lifter gangs held

Shahzad Town and Noon Police teams arrested four wanted members of bike lifting and dacoit gangs and recovered four stolen motorcycles, cash, mobile phone and weapons with ammunition from their possession, a police public relations officer said.

He said that, a police team under the supervision of SHO Shahzad Town used human resources and latest technology and apprehended 02 members of bike lifter gang. The accused were identified as Shahmir and Isbhat. Police team also recovered three stolen motorbikes from their possession.

During the preliminary investigation, the accused confessed multiple M bike lifting incidents from various areas of Islamabad. Cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway.

Further-more, a police team under the supervision of SHO Noon used human resources and latest technology and apprehended 02 members of dacoit gang. The accused were identified as Noman and Abdullah. Police team also recovered cash, mobile phone, stolen motorbike and weapon with ammunition from their possession.

The accused were identified as Numan alias Nomi and Abdullad. During the preliminary investigation, the accused confessed multiple snatching incidents from various areas of Islamabad. Cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway.

DIG Operations Sohail Zafar Chatha appreciated the police teams efforts and further directed all zonal SP’s to intensify the ongoing crackdown against criminals involved in illegal criminal activities. He said that = the safety of the lives and property of the citizens is our prime responsibility and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard.
