The Society of Surgeons (Lahore Chapter) on Monday held a condolence reference for two deceased professors here at auditorium of Services Institute of Medical Sciences Lahore where services of former dean late Prof. Muhammad Iqbal Khan and Prof. Shabbir Ahmed Noro were paid tributes by the speakers.
President of Society of Surgeons Prof. Farooq Afzal, Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal, Prof. Mahmood Ayaz, Prof. Majeed Ch. Prof. Amir Zaman, Prof. Javed Ather, Prof. Haroon Javed, Dr. Amina Iqbal and Dr. Bilquees Shabbir in their address said the great services rendered by both professors would be remembered for a long time as their professional capability was beyond doubt.
Prof. Farooq Afzal said that Society of Surgeons has taken right step for holding such condolence reference and such sitting should continue to acknowledge the work done in the medical field by seniors which could also be followed by the juniors as well. He said that this world is timely place to perform and leave good memories for the followers and both professors Muhammad Iqbal Khan and Shabbir Ahmed Noro were experts of their field who earned good name in career and their professional life is torch bearer for others.
Other speakers at this platform of Society of Surgeons threw light on the different aspects of the lives of Prof. Muhammad Iqbal Khan and Prof. Shabbir Ahmed Noro and their long standing professional services in the medical field. They said that their hard work, dedication and devotion rendered by late professors would be remembered in good words.
