Govt appoints Imran Abbasi as MD PPL

The federal government Tuesday appointed Imran Abbasi as the new Managing Director of Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL).

The federal cabinet has approved the appoint-ment through a circulation summary. The Petro-leum Division forwarded the decision of the Federal Cabinet to PPL.

The appointment of Imran Abbasi as MD is for a three-year contract and will be effective immedi-ately.—NNI
