As a result of day and night efforts of SSGC’s technical teams, Balochistan is almost all set to get the gas supplies that got discontinued due to massive destruction of SSGC’s gas infrastructure after heavy flood water swept away our two main pipelines of 12” dia and 24” dia in Bolan river. Today, honourable Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited the site at Bibi Nani bridge at Bolan River and saw SSGC’s technical teams busy in the gas restoration work.

He was highly pleased to witness these efforts and lauded their determination for completing restoration before the target date despite of numerous climatic and logistic challenges. PM also appreciated them by announcing prize money of Rs. 1 million for the technical teams deployed for this gas restoration mission.

As everything is moving well in accordance to SSGC’s plans of gas restoration to Balochistan, the supplies are most likely to be resumed a day earlier to the target date i.e. today on September 4, 2022.
