The Lahore police on Friday conducted search operations in sensitive areas of the city, important offices and public places.
A heavy contingent of Dolphin Squad, PRU, Elite Force, security agencies and Lahore Police participated in the search operations. The police checked suspicious various parts of the city with the help of biometric and the latest android devices.
The ongoing search operations are aimed at creating a sense of security among citizens and maintain law and order situation in the provincial capital.
Security of mosques, imambargahs and other religious places remained tightened during Friday prayers.
The Lahore Police, in continuation of its crackdown on drug-peddlers and gamblers in the provincial capital, have arrested 1,291 accused persons.
