Karachi Company and Shahzad Town Police have arrested nine criminals and recovered, motorbike, mobile phones, cash, stolen valuables and weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said.
He said that, DIG (Operations) Waqar Ud din Syed has directed all zonal officers to accelerate their efforts to curb the crime in the city and no laxity would be tolerated in this regard. Following these directions, SP (Sadder) Muhammad Omer Khan constituted special teams under supervision of SDPO Margalla including SHO Karachi company Police Station Sub-Inspector Shabbir Ahmed Tanoli along with other officials. Police team successfully busted four members of a street criminal’s gang identified as Aneel alias neelo, Samuil alias don, Nadar aliad kaka and Samin Masih.—INP
