Hamdard Pakistan celebrated Pakistan’s 75th Independence Day with a lot of national fervour and enthusiasm yesterday in a 14th August Independence Day celebratory cake-cutting event held at Hamdard’s Corporate Head Office. Ms. Sadia Rashid, Chief Mutawallia attended the event as chief guest. She was accompanied by Managing Director & CEO Fatema Munir Ahmed, Chief Operating Officer Dr. Arshad Saleem, Vice Chancellor Hamdard University, Prof. Dr. Syed Shabib-ul-Hassan, Directors and senior staff members.
On the occasion, Hamdard Pakistan’s founder Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said’s dream of a prosperous Pakistan, vision of enlightening the young minds, philanthropy and iconic contributions in the health sector of the country were remembered and honored by the gathering.
The team members in large numbers attended the festivities and prayed for the bright future and prosperity of the country.According to the statement released by Hamdard Pakistan, it was said: “14th of August is a day where Pakistanis come together to honour the struggles and sacrifices made by millions of Muslims, including our forefathers who stood firm to achieve independence for us. 14th of August is a day to reaffirm our commitment to serve our beloved country with the best of our abilities.Hamdard Pakistan’s continuous struggle to shape the way forward of our nation in the fields of health and education has been a demonstration of the organization’s patriotism, compassion and resilience towards the betterment of our society.
