Provincial Minister for Special Education Punjab Chaudhry Mohammed Akhlaq said that the role of religious minorities, especially the Christian nation, has been exemplary in the development of Pakistan and prosperity, and that religious minorities are equally loyal to Pakistan. He expressed these views while addressing a Christmas dinner held at a local hotel in connection with the Christmas celebrations organized by the Diocese of Sialkot Church of Pakistan. He further said that the Christian nation did not hesitate to make any sacrifice for Pakistan’s development, defense and governance and proved that Pakistan belonged not to any nationality but to Pakistanis. The provincial minister added that the Christmas festival gives a message of peace, religious tolerance and respect to the people.
