The Punjab Minister for Special Education Chaudhry Muhammad Ikhlaq has said that the government of the province was busy in taking sincere and effective steps for the progress of the industry and the public sector. While addressing the local industrialists and exporters at the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) provincial minister Ch Ikhlaq further stated that as an industrialist himself and member of SCCI he was fully aware of the multi dimensional problems faced by the industrial sector and was trying to play his role for their early solution.
He said that problems relating to the social security, labor and sales tax refund were currently the most pressing issues and the government was trying to take measures within its limited resources for their early resolution.
He also said that the steps for the reconstruction and repair of Sialkot-Wazirabad road were being taken whereas, 2 billion rupees had been allocated in the current budget for the reconstruction of two-way Sialkot-Pasroor road.
He opined that reconstruction of those major roads would help in minimizing fatal road mishaps apart from facilitating tens of thousands of citizen. Provincial minister Ch Muhammad Ikhlaq told that shortage of the funds was causing unwanted delay in the completion of the overhead bridge near Chowk Zohra Memorial Hospital but the resolution of the problem in that regard was near.
The provincial minister for Special Education Chaudhry Muhammad Ikhlaq said that politics were secondary to him as was proud of being a part of SCCI. He said that he was sincerely and seriously trying to play any part for the solution of the problems faced by Sialkot.
He said he would personally contact the respective ministries including, the ministry of industry, in order to help resolve the issues.
