Exchange of souvenirs between CISSS and SZABIST CISSS held an introductory outreach visit to Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and technology (SZABIST) to discuss cooperation in mutual areas of research and development.
CISSS delegation composed of their research team Dr Saba Sahar, Ms Areesha Anwer, Mr Abdul Samad, Mr Saad Aalam and Mr Jawad Ali Shah briefed SZABIST Dean of Social Sciences Dr Prof. Riaz Ahmed Shaikh about the vision of the center which aims to develop a better understanding of national and provincial issues.
The discussion also centred around the prospects of research between the two organizations on international and national strategic issues as well as socio-economic issues of Sindh. Possibilities of fellowship and research opportunities to young scholars of Sindh and mutual areas of cooperation including joint research projects, organizing seminars and workshops in the future also remained part of the discussion.
