Pakistan People’s Party central leader and former federal minister Nawabzada Khawaja Mohammad Khan Hoti on Friday demanded the Sindh chief minister to take strict action against those people who are involved in killing of innocent Pashtuns and burning the hotels, petrol pumps and other properties of Pashtuns in Sindh.
“Some elements want to create misunderstanding between Pakhtun’s and Sindhis which will create a lot of problems’, he added. He expressed these views while addressing a crowded news conference at Mardan press club. Khawaja Hoti added that Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa never raised its voice against Sindh because Sindh and Khyber-Pakhtunkwa are small provinces of the country and their interests and rights are the same.
He added that if immediate action wasn’t taken in this connection it will create a lot of problems for Sindhis. Khawaja Hoti strongly criticized Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Mahmood Khan for not raising the voice of the innocent Pakhtun of Sindh. He added that Mohammad Khan is chief minister of the province and it is his duty to raise vice for Pashtuns.
Khawaja Hoti added that the former government has done an agreement with the IMF and former finance minister Shokat Tareen signed the agreement and now Imran Khan is denying this agreement. He added that the Supreme Court decision made it clear that Imran Khan and his Speaker and Deputy Speaker violated the constitution of Pakistan so it is need of time that Imran Khan and his facilitators should be tried under article 6 of the constitution of Pakistan.
