CISSS, AIOU discuss mutual interest, joint research project

A delegation from Center for International Strategic Studies Sindh (CISSS) led by Associate Director Research Dr Saba Sahar along with her team of researchers comprising Mr. Abdul Samad, Ms Areesha Anwer and Mr Jawad Ali Shah, visited Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) Regional Campus Karachi, Sindh on 1 July 2022.

The CISSS delegation had a meeting with Additional Regional Director Mr. Irfan Ali Ansari and discussed areas of mutual cooperation including joint research projects, organizing seminars and workshops in the future.

Team CISSS briefed AIOU authorities about vision of the Center that aims to develop a better understanding of national issues and highlight the longstanding socio-economic issues in Sindh and beyond.

Collaboration between think tanks and universities will promote a culture of research and development in Sindh that will help provide sustainable solutions for policy makers. The think tank also aims to provide research and fellowship opportunities to young scholars and students of Sindh.
