Hot, dry weather expected

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most areas of the country while very hot in south Punjab and upper Sindh during the next twelve hours. However, light rain-wind and thunderstorm are likely to prevail at isolated places in Gilgit Baltistan and Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Temperature of some major cities recorded on Monday. Islamabad twenty-three degree centigrade, Lahore twenty-eight, Karachi twenty-nine, Peshawar sixteen, Quetta seventeen, Gilgit and Murree nineteen and Muzaffarabad twenty-two degree centigrade.

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, hot and dry and dust raising winds weather is expected in Srinagar and Jammu, partly cloudy in Leh, while partly cloudy and dry in Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramulla.Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar seventeen degree centigrade, Jammu twenty-six, Leh twelve and Pulwama, Anantnag Shopian and Baramulla fourteen degree centigrade.—APP
