A high level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Vice Chairman Water Board Syed Najmi Alam at Chairman Secretariat Karsaz regarding water supply and drainage issues in District South and Lyari.
The Board instructed the officers to immediately resolve all the issues of water supply and drainage in District South and Lyari.In addition, all the names in the city should be completely cleaned before the rains, all the machinery including jetting, section, rodding, sewer cleaning machine, de-watering pumps should be activated, said the Vice Chairman Water Board.
Before the evacuation arrangements are completed so that the citizens do not face any hassle, he directed all the Chief Engineers to review the performance of their respective Superintendent Engineers and Executive Engineers and their subordinates.
No negligence of any kind will be tolerated.
