PM orders repair of Murree Expressway

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed the authorities concerned that the necessary steps should be taken for repairing of Murree Expressway.

He said this in his visit to Murree. Minister for Communication Maulana Asad Mahmood, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb and former PM and PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi were also present. On the occasion, the officials of the National Highway Authority gave detailed briefing.

The prime minister while directing to take necessary steps for Murree Expressway ordered that keeping in view the standard of the Hazara Motorway, the Murree Expressway should be repaired, adding that a lot of money has already been wasted and not a single penny should be wasted anymore. Shehbaz Sharif while directing to stop illegal constructions directed construction of rest areas after 15 kilometers.
