Running after the ISI

MOST of the BJP leaders might be of the opinion that things would be all set, if a strict ban is imposed on Pakistan’s Premier Intelligence Agency ISI; no Kashmiri would raise his voice against the atrocities of the illegally deputed Indian forces there in Kashmir, the Sikh community would simply forget all struggle for Khalistan and the low-caste Hindus and other minorities would silently compromise with the wind blowing against them in India; but such type of senseless and illogical opinion could never be acceptable to the wise people.

Everyone having a thoughtful mind knows well that injustice gives birth to aggression and revolt. If you deprive someone of his basic human rights, he would certainly and surely retaliate.

The feeling of maltreatment and humiliation is something very natural and no intelligence agency could ever ‘plant’ this feeling in the hearts of the wretched ones.

But in spite of all these bitter facts and realities a childish blame game against the ISI is always on in the BJB-governed Indian territories.

Recently in India, the BJP-financed media has started a new propaganda move against the Khalistan Movement by blaming that the Khalistan Movement is designed and patronized by Pakistan’s Premier Intelligence Agency the ISI.

A few days back the ‘Opindia.Com’ reported with reference to the Intelligence Bureau of India that Pakistan’s ISI has created a new outfit ‘Lashkar-e-Khalsa’ and this Lashkar has started recruiting Afghan fighters for terror activities in India with the support of Pakistan’s ‘notorious’ spy agency ISI.

The IB report further said that the newly formulated group ‘Lashkar-e-Khalsa’ is active on social media and recruiting people to execute its nefarious designs.

Another news agency ANI said with reference to the IB report that an alleged Pakistani Intelligence Operative using the pseudonym ‘Amar Khalistani’ is actively making efforts to cultivate new recruits through a Facebook ID to plan terror activities in the country.

This alleged Pakistani intelligence operative is reportedly managing multiple Facebook pages under the name of ‘Azad Khalistan and Kashmir’.

The IB report further blamed, according to the media reports, that the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) has re-activated its Kashmir-Khalistan (K2) desk to bring pro-Khalistan supporters and anti-India supporters in Kashmir to a common platform.

The idea behind the K2 desk is to exploit sentiments in Punjab and Kashmir.Indians blame that the K2 Desk was established by the ISI in 2006 and since then this desk is trying to create disturbances in different parts of India by patronizing the Sikh and Kashmiri freedom fighters.

Indian Investigation Agencies are linking the recent rocket-propelled grenade attack on the Intelligence Wing headquarters of Punjab Police in Mohali with the K2 Desk.

The incident occurred on 9 May 2022 around 7:45 pm and caused no injury, no casualty. The local police station reported that it was an explosion of very minor nature and could be termed as a ‘blast with a rocket type fire’.

After the blast some window-panes on one of the floors of the building were found shattered; reported the police.

If there is anything like ISI’s K2 Desk and if the Mohali blast was really the work of that so-called K2 Desk, there must have been a lot of casualties and injuries because the success of any covert operation by an intelligence agency is measured by the damage it causes.

Certainly it was not the plan of the ISI to break the ‘window-panes on one of the floors of the building’.

The fact of the matter is that it is simply the habit of the Indian Investigation Agencies to drag Pakistan in every terrorist activity; perhaps this practice makes easy for them to shed-off all burden of responsibility.

On 23 April 2022, Chandigarh Police reported that an explosive device from near Model Burail Jail was recovered and eventually defused.

The police stated that a German-based terrorist and a member of a Sikh liberation organization ‘Sikh for Justice’, Jaswinder Singh Multani was involved in planting of that device.

The investigation agencies further stated that Multani has links with Harvinder Singh Rinda who is believed to be in Pakistan.

As far as Harvinder Singh Rinda is concerned, according to the print and other media resources, Rinda is from district Tarantaran of Punjab.

At the age of 11, Rinda shifted to Nanded Sahib in Maharashtra with his family. As per police records, Rinda had killed one of his relatives in Tarantaran at the age of 18 due to a family dispute.

In Nanded Sahib, he started extorting money from local traders and killed at least two people.

Two FIRs were registered against him at the Wazirabad and Vimantal police stations under charges of murder, attempt to murder, Arms Act etc.

Two cases were registered in 2016 and in both of them; Rinda had been declared a proclaimed offender.

He is believed to be associated with Babbar Khalsa International, a ‘pro-Khalistan terrorist’ organization.

In all his life history, one finds Pakistan nowhere. But from IB to the RAW, all Indian intelligence and security agencies are adamant on proving him a terrorist patronized by the ISI.

Such childish allegations not only prove the inability and unskillfulness of the Indian security and intelligence agencies but also ascertain professional supremacy of the ISI over them.

By levying such baseless allegations India is desperately trying to defame Pakistan on one hand and to crush the Khalistan movement on the other hand but being continuously defeated on both fronts.
