VC SMIU inspects tree plantation drive at Education City, Malir Campus

Vice Chancellor Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU) Dr. Muhammad Ali Shaikh inspected ongoing tree plantation campaign at SMIU’s Education City, Malir campus on Thursday.
This campaign was launched in November titled “University in Garden” in which large number of students are taking part regularly.
Vice Chancellor SMIU along with students, faculty members, principle officers and guests participated in the tree plantation drive to make this campus environment friendly.
At the occasion VC SMIU, Dr. Muhammad Ali Shaikh said that this area of Malir is suitable for tree plantation as well as we will also plant fruit trees in this campus in near future.
He said trees had been planted by the students so far in the Malir Campus and proper arrangements had been made for their protection and nourishment. He called upon the students to take active part in the national cause of mass scale tree plantation at your home and neighborhood.
Earlier, Vice Chancellor Dr. Muhammad Ali Shaikh also chaired the meeting at Conference Hall of Malir Campus. Where he was briefed about the ongoing construction work of the campus. The meeting was attended by the chairpersons, faculty members and principal officers. He inspected under construction work and ensured their timely completion.
The Vice Chancellor SMIU, Dr. Muhammad Ali Shah along with the guests planted trees at the Malir Campus as a symbol of Green Campus.
