The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf on Monday sought permission from Islamabad district commissioner for holding a sit-in on Srinagar Highway in the federal capital.
PTI wrote an application to the Islamabad DC requesting him to allow the party to stage a sit-in on Srinagar Highway on the day of party’s long march as was announced by party Chairman Imran Khan.
It was stated in the application that the administration should provide security and take other measures for the security of participants of the long march.
It was also assured in the application that the rally participants would stage a peaceful demonstration.
