The entire city campus of Mirpur University of Science & Technology in the lake-city of Mirpur Azad Jammu & Kashmir was Friday echoed with full-throat zindabad slogans for Pakistan and the valiant armed forces of Pakistan on the eve of
a grand seminar titled “Unprecedented role of valiant armed forces of Pakistan for National Security and Solidarity, hosted at the Mechanical Hall under the auspices of the MUST varsity, to reiterate full unity and solidarity with the brave armed forces of the country.
“The armed forces of Pakistan are the first and last line of the national defense of the country being the custodian of the ideological and geographical frontiers of Pakistan and the Pak army should never ever by dragged into the national or regional politics of the country on the part of certain disgruntled and vested interests in the politics at any of the stage – since the armed forces always kept themselves away of the politics at every stage in the country”, speakers emphasized.
The seminar, chaired by Engr. Prof. Hassan Mustafa Jaffery, Dean Faculty of Engineering and Technology MUST, was addressed among others by the chair Dr. Jaffery, Deputy Commissioner Ch. Amjad Iqbal, SSP Kamran Ali, Senior Kashmiri journalist Altaf Hamid Rao, Station Director Azad Kashmir Radio Mirpur Muhammad Shakeel, ex Chairman AJK Supreme Court Bar Association Raja Fiyaaz Nawabi and ex Judge Supreme Court of AJK Masood A. Sheikh and President Mirpur Bar Association Faisal Manzoor and others.
Speakers strongly condemned the nefarious attempt by certain disgruntled and anti-social elements, perhaps belonging to the vested interest political elements to secure their selfish motives through trying to launch the nefarious campaign, since past few months, to malign the brave armed forces of Pakistan.
“Such elements should keep it in mind that hearts of the entire Pakistani nation (including Jammu Kashmir people) and the brave armed forces of Pakistan beat in unison – since only the fully strong and stable professional armed forces of Pakistan are the guarantee of the geographically and ideologically safe, secured and sound Pakistan”, speakers observed. Speakers categorically added that since entire nation stands united shoulder to shoulder the brave armed forces of Pakistan, the enemy can not dare to launch any adventure against the frontiers of the country in any way.
