Khuda Bux Brohi Thatta
An accused man namely Nooro Mallah, who had been arrested in attacking and injuring his wife with sharp knife, committed suicide in Thatta police station’s lockup police officials said.
Thatta police resources stated that the man has committed suicide in the washroom of locked by hanging himself with Azarbanb (drawstring).
Meanwhile SSP Thatta Adeel Ahmed Chandio told journalists that he has informed judiciary and civil judge Thatta has arrived on police station who will monitor the situation. However police took the dead body to civil hospital for postmortem examination in presence of judge.
Later on the relatives took the dead body on national highway near Chhutto Chand bus stand and protested for provision of justice. Mother of victim Nooro, Bachul Mallah said to journalist that her son has been killed and later hanged. Meanwhile MPA Syed Riaz Shah, arrived the spot and assured the relatives for justice. Later the relatives buried the dead body.
