Diamond Group of Industries has recently collaborated with Special Olympics Pakistan, which was held recently in Islamabad. The Special Olympics is the world’s largest sports organisation for children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities, providing year-round training and competitions to 5 million athletes and Unified Sports partners in 172 countries. The Special Olympics Pakistan had competitions and training in all four provinces of the country, with subprograms in Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas. It consisted of programmes including Young Athletes, Healthy Athletes, Athlete Leadership, Family Input Council, Project UNIFY, Youth Activation, Schools & Youth, and Unified Sports.
