Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Muhammad Asif Raza has said that all ongoing development schemes launched for welfare of the masses will be completed timely in the district while to ensure use of quality material is the top priority of the district administration under the vision of the Punjab government.
He was addressing a meeting held to review pace of work on ongoing projects. Ex-Federal Minister Saira Afzal Tarar, MPA Dr. Mazafar Ali Sheikh, Ex. MNA Mian Shahid Hussain Bhatti, Ch. Muhammad Bux Tarar, Ch. Shoaib Shafiq Arian, ADCR Imran Asmat, ADCG Hamid Nasir Goraya, Deputy Director Development Hafiz Mubashar-ul-Hassan and other concerned officers were also attended the meeting.
He warned that if any contractor was found to use substandard material in the ongoing schemes, criminal cases would be lodged against him.
He said that construction work on Gujranwala to Kot Sarwar Motorway Interchange via Hafizabad and district headquarter hospital was underway with the cost of more than Rs. 20 billion while both parks of the city were also being upgraded to provide better recreational facilities to the people and first ever food street would also be setup. He further said that special attention was being given on the schemes of beautification of the city.
