Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Attaullah Tarar said Thursday that Punjab Governor Omar Sarfraz Cheema cared about neither law nor the Constitution.
Addressing a press conference here, he said that the Punjab governor was turning away from the Constitution by not administering the oath to Chief Minister-elect Hamza Shehbaz.
He said that a crisis was intentionally created in the province. “The high court has pronounced three verdicts regarding the establishment of a government in Punjab, but they [Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf] are hell-bent on trampling the Constitution,” he deplored.
He said that they were playing with the province and the provincial assembly for the last 27 days, adding that Imran Niazi had imposed Usman Buzdar on Punjab as revenge.
Other PML-N leaders including Malik Ahmed Khan, Sardar Awais Leghari, Zeeshan Rafique, Khalil Tahir Sandhu, and Iftikhar Chachar were also present on the occasion.
