Chief Officer directed to restore sewerage system

Assistant Commissioner Pindi Bhattian Shiza Rehman has directed the Chief Officer MC Pindi Bhattian to restore sewerage system from Duleki Band to Agriculture Colony and remove encroachments in the way of sewerage system which had been closed since long by the some encroachers and inhabitants of the area was facing difficulties.

She issued these directions while visiting different areas of the city Pindi Bhattian to review cleanliness contestation in the city. Officers of MC and Public Health Engineering were also accompanied by her. She warned the citizens to remove encroachments voluntarily and refrain from create hurdles in the streets and roads otherwise strict action would be initiated against encroachers.

She also warned the supervisors and sanitary staff to improve cleanliness condition in their respective areas and no negligence would be tolerated at all.
