Islamabad Club Champions Trophy Kalabagh/Shahtaj lift title

Kalabagh / Shah Taj won the final of Islamabad Club Champions Trophy 2022 under Islamabad Club Polo Grounds.

After an interesting contest in the final, Team ASEAN lost 8-5. According to details, a large number of spectators were present at the Islamabad Club Polo Grounds to watch the interesting polo final. Special guest on the occasion was Assistant Secretary Islamabad Club Sohail Shugri.

The final match between Kalabagh / Shah Taj and ASEAN Polo teams was very interesting which was won by Team Kalabagh / Shah Taj 8-5. Guy Gabert from Kalabagh / Shah Taj played brilliantly and scored four beautiful goals while in the other Asfandyar Khan scored two and Adil Waheed and Raja Timur Nadeem scored one goal each.

For the losing team ASEAN Polo, Bauti Ferini scored two goals, Raja Jalal Arsalan, Hashim Asad and Haider Asad scored one goal each. In the closing ceremony, Sohail Shugri distributed prizes among the players. Speaking on the occasion, Man of the Match Gay Gabbert said that it was great to be in the beautiful city of Islamabad.

Polo Ground and Islamabad Club Polo Grounds are very good. It was great to play for Team Kalabagh / Shah Taj. All the players worked hard and so the team won. We will try to perform well in the next two or eight goals.
