NIA court to frame formal charges against Yasin Malik

A Special NIA Court in New Delhi, notorious for implicating and punishing Kashmiris in fake cases, on Monday said it will frame formal charges against Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik and other Kashmiri detainees on April 18 in connection with a fake funding case.

Muhammad Yasin Malik, Masarrat Aalam Butt, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, former lawmaker Engineer Rasheed, businessman Zahoor Ahmad Shah Watali, Farooq Ahamd Dar, Aftab Ahmad Shah, Altaf Ahmad Shah, Naeem Ahmad Khan, Bashir Ahmed Butt, Peer Saifullah and several others have also been framed under charges for “waging war” against India. Notably, the court has discharged three, namely Kamran Yusuf, Javed Ahmad Butt and Syeda Aasiya Andrabi.—KMS
