The police arrested six gamblers besides recovering hundreds of thousands rupees stake money and gambling tools here on Wednesday.
The police on a tip-off launched crackdown in Mehria Land Attock, where six people were gambling through cards under Eucalyptus trees.
The police arrested all gamblers including Ali s/o Muhammad Asghar, Waqar, his brother Waqas s/o Boota, Habibur Rehman s/o Farman, Muhammad Saleem s/o Muhammad Siddique and Muhammad Imran s/ Abdul Sattar.
The police recovered Rs1,02,430 stake money, gambling tools and after registering a case against the detainees started an investigations.—INP
