A group painting exhibition on Sufism was organized by Punjab Council of Arts (PUCAR) Rawalpindi in collaboration with Art Psyche.
The chief guest of the opening ceremony was Naheed Manzoor along with Assistant Director Muhammad Suleman.Art work of more than 50 young artists on Sufism was displayed in the exhibition.
Addressing the ceremony, Naheed Manzoor said that all the young artists have embodied Sufism in beautiful colors. Sufism frees man from worldly thoughts. After today’s exhibition, I am sure that there is no shortage of talent in Pakistan. These young artists will become the identity of Pakistan tomorrow. Speaking on the occasion, Muhammad Suleman said that history of Sufism in India is one thousand years old. Through Sufism, the saints spread Islam in the Indian subcontinent. Sufism connects man with Allah by taking him from virtual love to real love, he added. At the end of the ceremony, special guest Naheed Manzoor also distributed certificates of appreciation among all the artists.
