Director Administration Sindh Food Authority (SFA) Mehfooz Qazi said that huge population of our country is facing Food shortage, at a orientation program on Saturday.
He said Food Fortification Program (FFP) Pakistan is very important to provide healthy and nutrients carrying food to our people.
While addressing the training program ceremony of Food Fortification Process and Fortified Food held by ‘Nutrition International’ he said that Food Fortification Program is important development to provide necessary food items, which would be beneficial.
He said that Sindh Food Authority (SFA) is playing an active role to provide the standard foods and taking strict measures against the low quality edibles.
SFA playing a key role to impose Food Fortification Act, which will make sure the provision of necessary food items to infants and females.
Dr. Naveed Bhutto, Nutrition Specialist, United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Manager Nutrition International, Moheen Qureshi also brain stormed about the Fortification process and thanked secretary Food Fortification and other guests.
Later on, Director Administration SFA conferred certificates to the participants of the training program.
