Malik Amjad Ali advocate and Amjad Satti advocate were elected respectively president and General Secretary of District Bar Association (DBA) Abbottabad for the next term in the elections held here on Saturday.

Amjad Ali got 300 votes against his rival Sardar Haseeb Abbasi who secured 165 votes. For the seat of general secretary in close contest, Amjad Satti got 193 votes against his rival Kashif Ali who can get 181 votes and Syed Touseef ul Hassan shah 88 votes.

Sardar Kamal got 324 votes for the post of vice president against his rival Babr Shafi who secured 122 votes.
